The new Panasonic LumixG GH4 sets the standard for professional-quality video recording 4K (4K Cinema: 4096 × 2160/24 fps and QFHD 4K: 3840 × 2160 / up to 30 fps) in MOV / MP4 format or video recording superfast bit rate 200 Mbps (ALL-Intra) or 100 Mbps (IPB) unlimited recording time. Were also added several new features for recording professional videos.

Among the features of the Panasonic Lumix GH4 highlight its exceptional mobility and high speed response. The contrast AF system precision technology now features DFD (“depth from defocus”), which gives an exceptional rate of about 0.07 seconds.
The AF continuous shooting has also increased to 12 fps (AFS). Both the LVF viewer 2,359,000 points as the rear monitor 1,036,000 points have OLED technology, thus offering an improved within minimum time resolution.
To be tough enough to withstand even heavy field use, the main structure of the DMC-GH4 is composed of magnesium alloy full diecast front / rear frame.
It also features splash / dustproof construction thanks to the sealing on every joint, dial, and button. The shutter unit is also redesigned to be even more durable for approx. 200,000 times release.

To offer more flexible usage, the Panasonic Lumix GH4 even incorporates Wi-Fi with NFC Technology or in-camera RAW development capability.
It also complies with External Flash (DMW-FL580L), Stereo/Shotgun Microphone or Battery Grip (DMW-BGGH3) to support professional photography/videography. The expansive flexibility of DMC-GH4 goes far beyond the limit of conventional Digital Single Lens Mirrorless camera.
Cut out magical moments in 8-megapixel equivalent resolution from 4K video footage. Once selecting the 4K Photo Mode, recording format / picture quality setting / brightness level are automatically set to the optimum parameter for photo shooting.
You can also choose either 4:3 or 3:2 in addition to 16:9. Each JPEG image cropped out of the video footage complies with EXIF information. Marking function and Loop Rec function are also available.
