Canon EOS REBEL XS

Canon EOS REBEL XS. In the market there are few cameras more recommended to start in the world of digital SLR photography. The REBEL XS is pretty, light and very easy to handle.

The exterior design resembles more like the Canon EOS, unlike other REBEL we have seen. Its specifications are very similar to the REBEL Xti although it has some improvements that need to be highlighted.

The XS puts the power of capture and processing within the reach of the world in perfect balance with its price. The CMOS Sensor has the same resolution as the Canon EOS REBEL Xti, 10.1 megapixels, so the sharpness is more than assured.

We will also forget blurry images because it is equipped with a lens that has IOS. The objective is the EF-S 18-55 mm f / 3.5-5.6 IS.

The difference with Xti is found in the image processing. This REBEL has the DIGIC III image processor, instead of the II. The processing delay when capturing the image is 164 ms while in the Xti it was 200 ms.

This is the most notable difference. We also find the Live Preview of the photos on the camera screen before taking them and it is somewhat lighter and less expensive.

It also features a 2.5 inch LCD screen, sensor cleaning system and is compatible with a multitude of Canon lenses. This allows us to adapt to any situation obtaining the best results.

The Auto Focus is 7 points instead of 9 but we will not notice big differences. If you notice it in its battery of longer duration that allows us to make up to 500 shots instead of the 370 of the Xti.
