Both Galaxy Buds are touch-responsive and will allow you to control music playback or interact with your phone without touching the screen.

Standard Galaxy Buds have four potential tap-and-hold settings: voice command, quick ambient sound, ambient sound, or volume up/down.

The Buds allow you to hear the ambient sound around you, for example, on a subway or while doing sports. You can set the touch and hold action to activate ambient sound, or you can enable and customize the feature in the Galaxy Wearable app under Ambient sounds.

You can lock the touchpads to prevent accidentally changing songs. To lock them, open the Galaxy Wearable app (or the Galaxy Buds Plus app on iPhone / android) and turn on Lock Touchpad in the Touchpad section of the app.

When we remove the Buds, the playback will automatically pause. It’s a built-in feature, so you don’t have to enable a setting on your smartphone. And yes, this feature also works with the iPhone.
