Microsoft’s Surface were created for a purpose: to replace the purchase of two devices, tablet and PC by just one. And although the first hybrid launched did not have the expected results, if it is true that gradually, users are realizing the benefits of having everything in one device.
And it must be said, is not an any device, the Surface boast a high-end specifications and priced pretty tight if we consider that we saved one of the two devices.
To start to indicate that PRO and PRO 2 versions are really similar, while Microsoft has just released a manual for both. This is because the differences between the two are in the hardware and not the software.
Both have touch screen and an aspect ratio of 16: 9 which today is the excellent ratio to enjoy movies and TV shows in widescreen.
Of course, they are will play in HD at 1080p. The touch screen adminite multitude of gestures to perform basic functions such as moving element or zoom in / zoom out.
More specifications in common are the two cameras, front and rear, wireless and Bluetooth, USB 3.0 port, microSD slot and mini DisplayPort to connect to television. Personally, I still miss the HDMI connection.
The difference between the PRO and PRO 2 lies in the processor; PRO has an Intel Core i5 Processor 3rd gen. Intel HD Graphics 4000 and 4 GB RAM; and PRO 2 features a 4th generation i5 but with Intel HD Graphics 4400 and with 4 or 8 GB of RAM.
