The first change of the Plus version of the Chuwi Hi10 is the increase of screen and the reduction of its dimensions. The first difference ranges from 10.1 “of the original to 10.8” of the Plus. It does not seem like a big change but at the moment of truth if it shows.
The resolution Full HD does not change but if the thickness of the devices that happens to be 8.5 mm, losing almost 1.5 centimeters. This is a smaller thickness than many smartphones. The loss comes in the density that decreases little but it does (214 ppp).
We get fully into the performance realizing that although it does not seem to vary much are important differences.
For example, it still has an Intel Atom processor and 4 GB of RAM but this time it is the Z8350 with a lower clock frequency (1.44 GHz) but more efficient. The graphics chip remains in the Intel HD Graphics that for us is still the weak point of this tablet. Same storage with 64 GB and expansion via microSD.
4 GB of RAM, Full HD resolution and 8,400 mAh baterry
In the camera we see a small improvement but it is not enough for the note to rise a lot. The CMOS sensor upgrade of 0.1 MP (2 MP) will not make our photos level up. At least if they have included the LED flash that improves the results with low light.
The battery makes you earn some points thanks to its capacity of 8,400 mAh and especially to the fast charging powered by the micro USB port Type C. The HDMI output is another great triumph for the Plus version that allows us to expand our content to giant screens multimedia.
Nor does it change that Chuwi still does not publish the user manuals of both devices. Hopefully, they will soon decide.
