Steps to reset a Honeywell thermostat (For security, turn off the light in the house)
Accessories: flat screwdriver
- First of all
We must turn off the thermostat. - Open the back cover
With the help of a screwdriver, a coin or something flat, we open the battery cover. - Battery replacement
Now we need to remove the battery, but it is not necessary to replace them with new ones. - Insert batteries inside-out
We put the batteries again alternating the poles, that is, we match the negative with the positive. We wait at least five seconds. - Insert batteries correctly and replace the cover before installation.
After the recommended minimum time (over twenty seconds), we return the batteries to their correct position, place the cover and see on the screen that turns on automatically. - Finished.
The thermostat is reset and ready for your enjoyment.
